"Hot in January - I would never have guessed the market was hot in January but Louisa had just sold a friend’s house (for them) and they had glowing words for her. I had a rental property for a long time. It was not a money maker but I was patient, knowing that timing is everything. The very next day I contacted Lousia and after a short conversation I decided the time to sell had come. I learned a lot from her about the many subtle levels that underlie people’s quest for the house that is right for them. People are more picky than I had imagined. There were some shady characters who tried to pull a fast one that could have fooled me, but NOT Louisa. Having a rental property with no rent coming in is definitely dicey. Louisa is most reassuring but also tells it like it is. In short, being a good realtor requires a lot of people skills. It needs a blend of patience, shrewdness and boundless energy.
